HOW TO: CLEAN YOUR BEARD BRUSH
Wondering how to maintain your Smooth Viking Beard Brush?
Well, that is as easy as 1,2,3...
Step 1: Loosen the Hair
You might need to loosen the hair in your beard brush. You can do this by taking a cotton swab and running it between the bristles. This will also get rid of any dead skin cells at the base of the brush. Do this over a sink or trash can to avoid making extra clean up.
Step 2: Remove the Hair
With all the hair loosened, go ahead and grab the hairs and pull them free. You can also take a cotton swab and push them free. If you pulled some bristles out as well, this is normal. Bristles can fall out over time. Because of this, we recommend replacing your brush every 3-4 months.
Step 3: Shampoo your Beard Brush
Next, you can give your brush a nice shampoo. Just take a small bowl and fill it with shampoo and warm water. Move the brush around in the solution until you see soap suds forming. Do this for about 60 seconds. Then rinse your brush with warm water to remove the soap and allow to air dry.
We recommend replacing your brush after 3-4 months of use, especially if you are using it daily.
